The Robert C. Johnson III Films Identification Project was developed through the efforts of multiple teams. Thanks first and foremost to Dr. Robert C. Johnson for providing these materials and for granting this opportunity to explore ways of connecting students and alumni.

Materials were gathered from Dr. Robert C. Johnson by former Subject Librarian and Head of Library Diversity Initiatives & Outreach, Rudolph Clay. Further accessioning and description work was then performed by University Archivist Sonya Rooney and Film Preservationist and Supervisor Tyler Bequette.

This project was proposed and led by Rick Ceballos, Audiovisual Metadata Librarian for WashU Special Collections. The work done for the site was made possible through the Special Collections, Preservation, and Digital Strategies Division Residency Program (SPDS) to promote opportunities for outreach, collaboration, and broader understanding of our collections.

Additional thanks to Head of Special Collections Joy Novak, for facilitating this project and providing guidance throughout; to Film & Media Curator Lydia Creech who gave essential feedback and resources to enhance the quality of the project site; and to Head of Metadata Services Heidi Margold, for providing the space and time necessary for this project and for providing her constant support.

Student workers who contributed to the project were Añia Jacob and Mc Ramirez Gomez. Añia and Mc worked with Rudolph and Sonya to provide the descriptions and notes provided in the film pages. Their efforts helped provide critical information used to identify the best films for this project.
